Meet the Naish Team

Wyatt Miller
Born in Berkeley, California, Wyatt’s first windsurfing experiences came from being pulled on a boogie board behind his dad’s windsurfer through the San Fransisco Bay. By age 13, he began sailing on his own and by the age of 16, there was nothing else he wanted to do. Wyatt turned pro at age 20 and has enjoyed life ever since, wind surfing every day and encouraging as many sailors as possible. He spends the summers in San Fransisco Bay and the Gorge, the fall in Baja, and the winter in the Caribbean and Maui.
Brian Talma
Dubbed the “Irie man,” Brian was born and raised in Barbados, West Indies, and represents all that is Caribbean. Brian surfed, golfed and skateboarded while growing up on the island’s scenic south coast. His radical approach to surfing and skateboarding progressed even more when he tackled wind surfing in 1983. His distinct appearance and warmth garnered him instant popularity among his peers, and his sincerity and positive outlook earned him an international celebrity status a mere handful of wind surfers enjoy today.
Bernd Roediger
Quite possibly the most stoked wind surfing kid you will ever meet, Bernd joined Naish in 2007 after leaving a solid impression on Maui and the Gorge. He joined Kai Lenny in product development on the junior side and they continue to push each other to the next level. During the Maui winter, there is seldom a day where Bernd and his father Norm can’t be found at Ho’okipa. If it weren’t for Bernd’s smaller sail, it would be impossible to tell if it was a kid or a full grown adult ripping through the waves.

Your Day, Your Way

Wake up each day to a sumptuous breakfast and prepare for top-notch windsurfing instruction with Naish pros. After a workout on the water and a multitude of other activities throughout the day, take a hot private shower in a Baja-style locker room, and then head to the Chili-Bomb Cantina & Solace Lounge for beer, wine and spirits, including the traditional Baja Fog – a ceremonial libation of tequila, beer and lime. Feast on locally-caught appetizers before a hot buffet-style dinner of local and American fare. Please give advanced notice if you have special food requirements. Take advantage of the multimedia room or grab a nightcap before bed, and remember the Baja motto: “first to bed – first to shred.” On the off-chance there’s no wind, there’s always plenty to do in Punta San Carlos, and Naish and SoloSports have you hooked up with gear for SUP, surfing, hiking, biking and much more.
