Why My Spot Rocks
Marsh Creek State Park is located in the rolling hills of north central Chester County, Pennsylvania. The man made lake is 535 acres and supplies water to the surrounding communities. Every skill level of windsurfer can be found on the lake. The beginner to the experienced can ride the consistent winds across the lake with plenty of room to let loose. They share the water with other sail craft adding to the excitement and providing the surfer with abundant opportunities to tack.
The major attraction to the lake is its location. Sitting just off the PA Turnpike, it is easily accessible from any direction. The lack of speedboats gives the boarders plenty of room to maneuver without fear of getting run down. With plenty of beach, the spectators have a great view to watch their favorite surfer. Families regularly setup picnic lunches on the shore, surf, and then sit with family and friends to watch the others. It's a great place to windsurf, practice and refine your skills and enjoy the company of other surfers.
