Jace Panebianco, Levi Siver and Kai Lenny had shown up in town to do some filming for The Windsurfing Movie, so the whole crew was out on this windy day at Doug’s Beach — including Tyson and Whit Poor. Kris Ostness was on shore filming, and Jace and [photographer] Richard Hallman were both in the water, and we were just trying not to land on them — everybody always swarms the photographers. It wasn’t a huge day, but it was pretty good jumping — I don’t know if we were doing doubles that day or not. I like to do back loops more than anything, but I’m working on doubles. It always helps when the rest of the boys are around because it gets me motivated. — Sailor Nathan Mershon
