Photos: Western Australia Waves

This November, WindSurfing mag had the chance to join the Starboard team first at their headquarters in Bangkok, then on an epic sailing trip to Western Australia. You can read about the board testing sessions at Esperance’s 9 Mile Beach in the brand-new issue of WindSurfing, but for now, get a little Aussie action with this slide show. The music is local flavor from Built for Comfort, a blues and rock band whose members include sailors from 9 Mile Beach.

Sailors: Scotty McKercher, Svenko Akerbom, Martin Haglev

  1. WAWA !! (Western Australia Wins Again) Ya gotta love this side of the world… an infinite number of still to be discovered sailing sites, all the way from Esperence down south (around 5,000 k's of coastline) to Gnaraloo and beyond. And wind!

    I love this place!
