kristinThe anticipation is finally over, after a few weeks waiting and wondering the decision has been made. Bjorn has chosen to sign with Starboard for his future career in windsurfing.
As many of you will have seen in the last couple of events, Bjorn has been riding the Starboard iSonics. He has proven to be extremely fast with these boards and is really attacking the number one spot on the podium again.
Bjorn has won at Sylt, and finished second overall in the Slalom World Championship. Svein Rasmussen flew over to Sylt to check out the action and personally welcome Bjorn to the team. To have such an iconic member of the windsurfing world on the team is truly amazing. We are really excited to see what the future brings with a Starboard and Dunkerbeck collaboration.
Starboard wishes Bjorn the best of luck with the team. With 12 world titles to his name, Bjorn is by far one of the greatest windsurfers the sport has ever seen. Bjorn's sheer talent and determination to win really shows in his results, winning every world title and also back-to-back titles. Bjorn Dunkerbeck is not only a great windsurfer he is also a true ambassador to the sport.
