During the tumultuous winter on the North Shore of Maui, many windsurfing schools were concerned about new county park codes that could regulate them out of business.
However, word quickly spread through the Maui windsurfing community – as well as the multitude of yearly visitors to the North Shore – and after significant pressure from the public as well as the schools, the county is currently reassessing the proposed rules that govern the windsurfing schools.
