Drops Board is happy to announce that Francisco Porcella, 20 year old
ripper from Maui, is their new team rider. Born in New York, and grew up in Sardinia Italy until he moved to Maui in 2000, Francisco establish himself as one of the best waveriders in Hookipa, winning the Junior division at the Aloha
Classic in 2004 and finishing in 9th place at the last Hawaiian Pro.
He is actually No. 26 in the PWA WORLD TOUR wave ranking after
disputing only half of the wave events in 2006. ”We are confident that Francisco will increase his potential with the new boards - says Pietro Pacitto team manager of Drops - and happy to have in our team the best icon of young rippers”.
