American Jimmy Diaz, longtime Professional Windsurfing Association competitor, has assumed the role of PWA chairman. He succeeds Phil McGain, who held the position for 12 years. Diaz is enthusiastic about his new role, saying, “These are very exciting times for the PWA.” He looks forward to putting together a “stronger, healthier tour that will help in the growth and promotion of our great sport on all levels.”
 Former chairman Phil McGain will remain active in the association for some time to come. He plans on making his knowledge and expertise available to Diaz as he settles into his new role. Get ready for another exciting year of PWA action!
