West Dennis is the place to be as the first Cape Cod Freestyle Frenzy kicks off Saturday, June 18. The Freestyle Frenzy, in conjunction with the annual Windfest Cape Cod, will give local and regional sailors a chance to show off their latest freestyle moves. Competition will be close to the beach, making it a fun event for spectators as well as competitors. With crazy moves like the willy skipper, the grubby and the gecko flaka, things are sure to be exciting. Included in this year's event is a kiteboarding expression session, with some of Cape Cod's best kiters boosting huge aerials and tricks. Participants also have the opportunity to try the latest demo gear at Windfest Cape Cod. Registration for the event is $50 on site, and includes a T-shirt and some meals.
