We have a beginner  clinic in Alameda on Aug. 10th-11th brought to you by WOW &

Adventurous Woman Sports. We also have an intermediate clinic at Rio

 August 10th-11th. WOW 2 DAY BEGINNER LESSON featuring

instructor Jane Cormier. 10am-1pm, Crown Beach Alameda, $140. To

· August 24th-25th. WOW 2 DAY INTERMEDIATE CLINIC
featuring  instructors Jason Voss & Jane Cormier. 10am-3pm, Rio Vista. Fee  $200. This

clinic will be designed to help you with your  intermediate skills, including high wind

stance, waterstarting, using  a harness and footstraps, and carving jibes.

This clinic is open to beginning intermediate (learning to

waterstart) through advanced intermediate (carving jibes, other types

of jibes). The 2 day clinic fee includes lunch both days and

instruction from 10am3pm with a break for lunch. Bring your own

equipment or we can help arrange for you to rent equipment. Rio Vista

is an ideal place to windsurf it's warm fresh water, warm

sunshine all day, and has safe side onshore wind.

Jason Voss has been teaching windsurfing for 12+ years and was with

ABK for many years. He is a professional windsurfer and regularly

writes instructional columns for Windsurfing Magazine. Everyone I

have met who has taken his lessons says that he is an awesome

instructor!

Rio Vista is 1 hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco. You can

commute to this clinic or you can camp overnight at one of the nearby

state parks (with hot showers). We can help refer you to the

recommended campsite or to local hotel accommodations if you prefer.
