What We Liked:
The Naish Grand Prix 128 windsurf board is fast and friendly in light winds — a flat-water board many testers liked. Thick, soft foot pads were a pleasure. Good top speed.
Buyer Beware:
Soft fin that performs in light air can be a handful for novices if the breeze comes up.
Best Suits:
Florida flat-water blasters.
Other Highlights:
Ships with Naish Eco Board bag; slick new graphics.

This board is a rocket ship that can be an outrageous freerace board with a fin change! Plug in a Maui Fin Company freeride fin of your choice and the Board becomes incredibly easy to control and jibe. You lose a little upwind, but anything else you just fly. Its easy to jibe back foot or front foot pressure and comes out of the carve ready to rock and roll! I tested several light wind boards before buying this one. It is by far the easiest to make go fast (with the right fin). In light air and flat water to medium chop nobody can keep up or has more fun at the corners. Its tough if you get it airborne (scary in fact) and the short, wide shape gets some taking used to (Iʻm an intermediate to advanced sailor).
