“The OES X-Wave series is a hybrid shape that boasts just slightly more rocker than a freestyle- wave board,” says team rider and U.S. rep Russ Faurot. “It's smooth, with good pop for freestyle, but it carves like a wave board - it's got sharp, thin rails that really hold when you dig into a turn.” The OES also boasts the rare claim of being a “custom production” - production designed but custom built. What does that mean? “Our boards are almost a full pound lighter than a production board of comparable volume,” says Russ. “Plus, they use Core-Cell instead of Divinycell - it flexes better and has better memory, which means fewer buckled boards.”
