Evolving from the original U-Surf, the second generation is the culmination of many small tweaks and micro-adjustments to a board many were quite happy with already. “The new U-Surf holds bottom turns much better at high speeds and in steep waves,” says Exocet shaper Jean-Marie Guiriec. “We slightly increased the nose width at one foot off, while reducing the tail width. The end result is remarkable — the board is still stable, but it turns sharper without losing speed.” The U-Surf II will be released in two different constructions: U-Surf II (custom made wood/ carbon) and U-Surf II Pro Model (custom made Technora/biaxial carbon).
