F2 XTC 103

Individual Notes:

Intermediate/Advanced Testers

Daniel Rusk
My favorite – fast, with a lot of control – wasn't scary – jibed very nicely, planed early for it's volume – good for intermediate/advanced riders who want an exciting ride.

Anne Adair
Very very fast. Wanted to go faster and faster. Not an early planer. Needed lots of power. Not spectacular except in a straight line – not a great turner – wouldn't buy this board. Best suits experts in high wind – released well once it going.

Ray Scott
Lightweight bump and jumper. A little slower to get on the plane. Best suits advanced to experts.

Mark Billsberry
Frisky and light. Awesome high-wind flat water board – great compromise between maneuverability. Best suits high-wind blasters.

Ryan Mattson
Easy to sail and go fast – jumps well. Plans quickly. The name XTC says it all – this board is a pure pleasure to ride. Really encourages you to step on the gas…

Clyde Geisenschlag
Well balanced comfy fun ride – good speedgoing deep – first F2 I've ever ridden that didn't knock my teeth out. A direct and lively feel. Best suits intermediates and up that want a go fast board.

Alex Stankie
I felt it to be the second fastest of the test – but not sure it was super fast. Jibed on a dime – practiced duck jibes … upwind it lacked – needs more vertical fin – but for all around use – fin is good.

Josh Sampiero
Good board. Top slalom speed for expert sailors. Smokes on all points of sails.

Expert Testers

John Ingerbritsen
One of my favorites – it was fast, light and fun – it did have a little edge on it compared to other boards I liked – the ride was rough. Expect it from superior construction. Best suits me – seems like it would be good for boarder cross. Could be a fantastic onshore wave board. Great board for a lot of people.

Dan Thomson
Unreal fast and controllable even in big winds – great jibes – 30 cm fin is good match. Best suits speed freaks. ALL 10's! A TEN!

Group Consensus:
Doesn't suit as many people as other boards in the test. A little rough ride. Not the earliest planer.
