“Aaaaand in the opposite corner, packing a one-two punch with 15 foot seas and 30 knot winds, hailing all the way across the ocean from the Cape Verde Islands, we have the Tropical Tag Team of Hurricane Danielle and TD7!

“As you may know, these two powerhouses are fighting over the prized title, the grand slam, the ultimate trophy of the Outer Banks:

Best of Luck, NC DOT!  I’m rootin’ for ya as the home team, and truth be told, if the long period swell stays out of the Southeast or East, I think the road will hold up just fine.

On a happier note, Saturday through Monday have potential to be absolutely epic, off the charts, ridiculously good wave sailing days down on the south side. My fingers are crossed for fun wave sailing and open highways. Hope to see y’all out there!
