Greetings, readers! I’m pleased to present the brand-new issue of WINDSURFING magazine, featuring someone we all know and love — Giampaolo Cammarota, our sport’s most prolific blogger, longboard wave-sailor, and butt-picture taker.
Starting off with an in-depth personality profile of just how the Italian Stallion came to live in windsurfing paradise on Maui, we’ll segue into his guide on “How to Do Maui Right” (cheap rental cars, scoring free gear out of the Kanaha dumpster, and the right way to sneak good Italian wine through customs).
Then it’s on to a quick photo essay entitled “The Valley Isle: Maui Femininity Unveiled,” which will showcase some of Giampaolo’s best undercover telephoto lens work from his perch on the bluff at Ho’okipa, followed by a lengthy instructional on how to be your own voyeur. Finally, a piece from the epic blogger himself — 17,348 words on his summer in Oahu, where he caught 1,000 waves in two months. (We know it sounds lengthy, but that’s only 17.348 words a wave! Not all that much when yo…)
We hope you enjoy this inside look to the life of a very special man. Salute!
— Josh Sampiero, Editor, WINDSURFING magazine

Nice work Josh! GP is now an American Dream Icon.
No doubt!
Bought the May issue that has GC, but on a different cover (SUP sailing at lanes), and it has none of the stuff mentioned above, in it. How do I get that issue? Or am I in just in the Twilight Zone…
